Oscar De La Renta's designs are not what you would call trendy or youthful. Their more focused towards the ladies who lunch, and the glamorous socialites of the upper east side, but for spring 2012 Mr. De la Renta stepped out of his comfort zone a bit and delivered a collection that was sophisticated, and glamorous with an edge. You could see some bohemian accents in billowing gowns topped off with lace shirts that are most likely going to be worn by the younger generation which Mr. De La Renta has not completely won over until now. He still remained true to his signature style by featuring tweed suits, and ladylike dresses. This is my absolute favorite collection of Oscar De La Renta's so far.
